This online microneedling certification course gives you a complete introduction to what microneedling is, how it works, and the tips and techniques for performing it across several indications. It is open to NPs, PAs, RNs, MDs, DOs, naturopaths, and aestheticians in some states.

Also known as collagen induction therapy, Microneedling (MN) is a procedure used to help patients improve their appearance. Like any procedure, it carries risks, and this course covers them. It is used for facial rejuvenation, acne scarring, burn and trauma scars, alopecia, and hyperpigmentation, among other indications.

The course includes real patients receiving real procedures. R3’s expert trainers narrate the patient evaluation, procedure planning, technique tips, and aftercare instructions. Hair, face, arm, and hand techniques are presented.

Lessons also cover regulatory information, what the peer-reviewed research shows, and how the procedure works as a collagen induction therapy.

In this mini-course, R3 Medical Training opens with an introductory presentation on microneedling, including a literature review and an explanation of how collagen induction therapy works. The videos that follow show specific techniques for the face and other areas of the body. At the end of the course, you receive a certification you can download.
